Over the last 14 years, YogaKshema (a not-for-profit organization), founded by Dr Usha Vasthare, has worked with people in many walks of life, including corporate executives, teachers, homemakers, senior citizens and students. YogaKshema’s programs are entirely scientific, where the programs bring some of the latest advancements in the fields of Neuroscience and Positive Psychology to help people increase their self-awareness and empower them to improve their quality of life. The faculty of YogaKshema, ranging from scientists to corporate leaders to heads of schools to yoga teachers, bring with them varied multidisciplinary experience. At its core, YogaKshema believes in practice first then ‘preach’ – each faculty practices Neurosculpting as a core value.
YogaKshema has launched 'Self Empowerment ECHO' as a series of fortnightly dialogues on the topic of neuroscience-based ways to improve professional effectiveness and quality of life, for school leaders spanning across India.

Through the process of bringing about greater self-awareness, the program guides the school leaders to figure out solutions, most of which are already within them. The program is a step-by-step process of helping school leaders understand their own brain and mind whereby they slowly transcend their reactive “survival” behaviours and move towards re-capturing their real self. The tools will empower the school leaders to work on themselves as individuals and set them on a path of “evolving” as an individual as well as a professional. By becoming aware, understanding and accepting the concepts discussed, and implementing them on themselves, the program would not just bring about a palpable improvement in the quality of their personal lives, but also in the way they teach and communicate with the students and other teachers. This will improve their professional life, leading to an overall improvement in the quality of life.
