On 4th August 2022, ECHO India, in collaboration with NHM Mizoram organized a two-day training program called the ‘Partner Launch Training’ for senior health officials of the state. The Partner Launch Training is aimed at familiarising the state health officials with the ECHO Model, which is a proven and effective model to strengthen healthcare systems through capacity building.
The Partner Launch Training was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. R. Lalthangliana, Hon'ble Minister, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Mizoram. Other dignitaries present at the event included Dr. Eric Zomawia, Mission Director, NHM Mizoram.

The collaboration between NHM Mizoram and ECHO India enabled virtual training of over 300 healthcare professionals enabing effective delivery of healthcare services amid the COVID pandemic ECHO India, a non-profit organisation revolutionising healthcare education and healthcare access across India, in collaboration with NHM Mizoram organised a two days training program called the ‘Immersion Training’ for senior health officials of the state. The Mizoram Health Minister – Dr. R. Lalthangliana today inaugurated a two-days long programme on ‘Immersion Training’ at Hotel Floria in Aizawl. This training is a collaboration of the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) and National Health Mission (NHM) Mizoram; thereby aiming to update the state health officials with the ECHO Model – a proven and effective model to strengthen healthcare systems through capacity building.
