Orientation

1 Day On-Site Training Wade In – Find out how the ECHO model works

To be confirmed

ECHO India hosts a full-day in-person event during which ECHO leadership give presentations on all aspects of implementing the ECHO model. You will also participate in one teleECHO clinic. This is a great opportunity to wade into the ECHO pool and engage with members of the ECHO team as well as other organizations from around the country interested in learning more about Project ECHO

Target Audience: Anyone potentially interested in implementing ECHO and wanting to learn more before taking the plunge.

Immersion

3 Day On-Site Training Deep Dive – In depth training to start your own ECHO

To be Confirmed

If your organization is ready to replicate ECHO and has signed our partnership documents, we offer a deeper dive into the ECHO model and next steps for implementation. Through Immersion, you will develop an ongoing relationship with our Replication Team and other ECHO staff members, who will assist you in setting up your own teleECHO clinics.

This 3-day in-person training conducted by ECHO India begins with the Orientation and requires partnership documents to be signed before participation can occur. If you have not signed the partnership documents and would like to attend Immersion, please contact the Replication Team at replication@echoindia.in

Target Audience: Organizations ready to implement ECHO: we suggest that organizations send an implementation team rather than a single individual whenever possible. The team composition varies, but we suggest at least one content expert or specialist (particularly important to bring the team leader), other members of your anticipated ECHO hub team, an administrative or coordination lead and an IT support lead.

ECHO ASHA: An Initiative for CHWs by ECHO India

To be confirmed

ECHO India is conducting a 1-day session to introduce the ECHO ASHA program to all organisations working with Community Health Workers. This session will include a brief introduction to Project ECHO and the ECHO model. The team from ECHO Institute, USA, will also give a detailed session on the CHW training programs.

CHWs play a very critical role in the healthcare system and are effective. The cultural capacity of these individuals allows them to deliver messages about available services in a way that is well received and less likely to be perceived as threatening.

The CHW ECHO Programs aim to provide a platform for training and capacity building of the CHWs with a cost effective and innovative approach. Project ECHO is helping to fill the gap by providing training for community health workers serving in clinical settings, as well as providing a range of specialty CHW training.

Target Audience: Program Directors, Decision Makers and CHW Trainers (This is an introductory session meant for decision makers and not CHWs)
